this is my most favorite picture ever, i don't think that'll ever change. If you could, email me a video of u painting a picture? just so i can see ur strategies and how u do things, if you could it would be cool if you could speed it up, but that doesn't matter, i can do that myself. Also, could you email me some tips, i can paint in photoshop and real life, but now for some reason, it's all a little more confusing on the dsi. So tips would be cool, cuz i can't seem to find any. and i can paint and sketch, i don't understand why i can't do it on my ds. U should check my profile for my paintings lol. I'm not trying to advertise myself, and i don't think i should at this moment, so scratch that. my email is flyingpman@gmail.com . Thx OOPS I"M RAMBLING sorry that just happens to me, i think as i type, and i keep going and going, it happens to me when i type stuff for skool too lol. DARN i'm doing it again. So sorry but thnx!

sorry it took so long to reply. i cant do a video because i have no camera to record with, but i can give you some advice. so here goes. the main thing to remember when painting on this program is that you can fix all of your mistakes very easily. make a rough image and then go back and clean up the lines and edges and then change the colors you dont like or shift the shading/ blending to your will. always make sure that you dont get rid of a color u might need again unless you are willing to try to recreate it, which isnt hard, just time consuming. dont loose patience, just make the art, give it as much time as it needs. also it helps if your dsi is calibrated correctly so recalibrate if you think your brush strokes are off. most of the time when im painting in detail i use a fairly watered down and not very heavy amount of paint so that if i do make a mistake it is easy to recover. if you do paint this way you need to do many layers tho, so lots of tiny precise brush strokes will give the area its fullest color, its a bit bothersome but so much better than heavy handing it with the paint. the only time i really use no water and lots of paint is with the base colors that go down, or if i need to smudge and blend an area well. lots of paint makes that easier. but like i said, just remember that all mistakes can be fixed, and have patience. thats all i can think of. :)
